Long lasting box braids

Box braids last for around six if they're properly looked after. For the health of both your hair and scalp, you should avoid leaving them in for longer than eight weeks. Doing so can damage both, and doesn't allow dead skin cells, natural oils, and shed hair to escape from beneath the braids, which can then become a breeding ground for bacteria.

Hair Inspiration! Small Box Braids for the Summer!

I guess that I am getting too old for box braids. I tried jumbo senegalese twist, but they were too long. I already know that those box braids will be too bulky, too long, and maybe too heavy. However, if you like box braids, but not the bulkiness let me introduce you to *two snaps* small box braids! Or pixie braids is what we called it growing up in the '00's. {I'm a 90's kid}

I really like pixie braids, because its smaller and lighter. You can make them short also. That way you won't have to worry about all that hair in the heat. Come On! Like who really wants to fight with ten pounds of hair in 99 degree  weather
