Gil Heika! King Gilbert!

If you don’t recall who he is it’s perfectly normal even T-sensei once forgot about his name but if I remember right(.....) he’s the founder king of Small Cimarron. And apart from his meeting Alazon (accounted by Sara so....not even entirely believable?) there hasn’t been too much info about him in the novels even: the very scarce info T-sensei ever gave about him is just he’s a man of gentle manners/delicate features (やさおとこ) (this came from Daikenkyuu3). So THIS IS LARGELY JUST HEADCANON plus mild refering to the MAnga portrayal......you’re near OC with me, Your Majesty.

speaking of the MA Sea

the URAMA CDs reminded me that MAXINE was afraid of HATED SHEEP

(my god i can’t even imagine what it must be like for him living in Small Cimarron where there seems to be so much sheep encounter lurking about. poor Maxine!! also please don’t tell me he joined the army to get away from a life with possible involvement with sheep.......??? poor Maxine!!!)

so this sheep-bath-hot-spring-inn from the MA Sea might just be......Sara’s headquarters fighting against the coup group like, chosen on purpose? it certainly seemed so with those tunnels but does that extend to the sheep bath......?

anyway I wish it’s just true he literally loves the sheep bath it’s not only about the happy + joyful coincidence with Yuu-chan and the OFURO culture of Japan but....

there’s no certitude concerning this boi is there (sighs)

Daikenkyuu3 says that Takabayashi sensei once forgot that Gilbert was already mentioned and given a name in the novels, and gave the MAnime staff a new name at request XDDDDDDD

Sensei is so adorable!!!!! (screams)

Also the big Wiki says the name Gilbert had many variations of spelling in history among which some have a strangely appearing look for example

Doesn’t this look fancy and smart! (though it might not read the same as Gilbert I suspect....)

I really wonder a lot about how everyone’s names are spelled in sensei’s head...
