It’s so beautiful out. And it has been for weeks. I can’t remember the last time I saw a cloud.

• rediscovering old songs you used to love

• coming home to a clean apartment

• the way your dog loves you

• eye contact with your crush

• remembering you brought your umbrella when it starts to pour

• sleeping alone after sleeping with someone who didn't bring you joy

Just Girly Things™

Pausing in front of a giant mirrored door to check your hair, not seeing your reflection and for the briefest of moments convincing yourself you have become a vampire. Realize that the door is not mirrored, it's regular old glass and the inside of the room just looks a lot like the outside of the room. Pretend nothing happened and hope no one saw you. Feel relieved you are not a surprise vampire.
