First things first, did you have a good year? - First instincts tell me this is one of the worst years ever, but I think this year has been one full of pain and hurt but that does not discredit my successes this year. It leans towards the bad end, but that’s alright. Hurting is part of healing.
How old did you turn this year? -16, lol
Do you feel your age? - At first, nope. Towards the middle of the year, probably around May, I slowly did.
Did your appearance change in anyway? - I’ve cycled through 3 haircuts.

If you traveled, where did you go? - Manila! Went to Ocean Park :)
Which fashion trends did you love? - The sudden rise of baggy and oversized stuff.
Which fashion trends did you hate? - Unironic tiny sunglasses.
What was your favorite article of clothing this year? Post a pic if possible? - I will die for my white hoodie. The picture is at the end.
What song sums up this year for you? - If we’re talking vibes, Lemon Boy by Cavetown gets me. If we’re talking lyrics, all the kids are depressed by Jeremy Zucker.
What album came out and has been on heavy rotation since then? - Lemon Boy by Cavetown.
What was your favorite movie of the year? - Deadpool 2 :) But I’m a sucker for Black Panther, Infinity War, and Antman and The Wasp.
Did an actor/actress catch your attention for the first time this year? -Sebastian Stan!!
Favorite new TV show? - Steven Universe, Brooklyn 99 and Atlanta
Which new ship/fandom has taken over a lot of your time, attention, and tears? - Mostly Marvel and Steven Universe.
What food did you try for the first time? - Ribsss
Did you make any big permanent changes this year? - I don’t really know what really is a big permanent change. But to be honest, I started being more open and confident. I’ve been fully “out” as Agnostic Atheist, bi, and partially out as trans dude.
What was one nice thing you did for someone else? - Checked up on smn when they were down.
What was one nice thing you did for yourself? - Bought myself a nice shirt.
Did you develop a new obsession? - Yep, SU and Debate.
Did you vote? - Not allowed to just yet.
Did you move? - Nope.
Did you get a job?- No? I kept doing freelance art stuff tho.
Did you get a pet? - Nope.
Do you regret not doing anything? - I regret not trying hard enough in competitions.
Do you regret doing something? - Breaking down at a really crucial moment.
Have you done anything that scared you? - Yes. Debate in general.
Did anyone/thing make you so mad it stayed with you for days? - Yes. I’m still mad at her, it’s been 3 months.
Did you lose anyone close to you? - Yes.
Did you fall in love? - Yep.
Did you fall out of love? - Yep.
Did you start a new relationship? - Nope. In fact, one ended at the beginning of the year.
Did you go through a break up? - Yep. Beginning of the year. It was for the best.
Did you have to cut ties to someone? - I haven’t completely cut them out, but I think the message is clear.
Who was important to you this year but wasn’t important last year? - The president of our Speech and Debate club.
Who wasn’t as important to you this year as they were last year? - My former best friend’s cousin, and my partner for my most recent Debate Cup.
If you could have a do over on one thing you did, would you take it? - I’d rather not. It’s happened and it’s up to me to deal with whatever, I don’t know if my do over would be better, either.
What was the best moment of the year for you? - I don’t know actually, haha. First ideas are the long talk I had with her, and the results of the Debate Cup.
What was the worst? - Half door slamming her. Breaking down at that really crucial moment.
Did anything happen that you were sure would change you as a person but it really didn’t? - Leaving her behind, I thought I’d be more hurt by it and I would be a mess. But I wasn’t.
Did anything happen to you that you were sure wouldn’t change you as a person but it did? - Falling for him. Initially, I thought it’d be the same old pain. I didn’t expect to learn so much from falling in love and getting hurt. I expected to go thru the usual pain that won’t make me rethink my whole self. But, now I think my views have been shaken in a good way.
What are you most proud of accomplishing? - Being a quarterfinalist in the first ever two debate cups I’ve had. Finishing Inktober 2018.
What have you learned about yourself this year that you didn’t know in the years prior? - I’m an INFJ all along lol.
Did your opinion of anyone change for the better? - Incredibly. I’m so proud of them.
Did your opinion of anyone change for worse? - Unfortunately, yeah.
If you make resolutions, did you complete them this year? - Didn’t make resolutions.
If you make resolutions, what will your resolutions be for the coming year? - Be more productive!
If you could go on an adventure during the remaining days of the year, where would you go and what would you do? Who would you go this? - I’d go to Munich, Germany with my closest friends from the debate team.
What do you wish for others for the coming year? - They’ll be happy and strong enough to overcome all challenges for next year! I hope we’ll stay as close as ever as well :)
What do you wish for yourself? -That I’ll be contented and fulfilled.
