Hot take, but Appmon isn't as bad as people say it is and Torajiro is my sonboy son ever.
Don't knock it til you watch it. I judged it, but it's definitely leagues above Fusion despite people comparing the two.
ok so sudden thought perhaps-
So like-
You’re a high maintenance, sort of boujee, hot girl right, in this scenario perchance- and ok so maybe like you just so happened to find this pretty lookingggg Porsche in your dads garage and he swears up and down you can have it once he fixes it up but he just can’t get it to start up and act right.
And so you offer to try your hand at is one EXTRA HOT summer evening with your lil hoops and low rise jeansss and the cutest lil top to just barely cover your tittys right- (yall in my head I’m already plotting and planning)
Anyway you’re going about a normal inspection, popping the hood, checking the engine, working your way to the tired and all that. And once your step foot in the car you realize, to wtf where’s the keys so you can try to start this bitch- so you to to get out, the door locks on you. And in a bit of a panic you unlock it, only for the little lock to sink right back down with a click.
And when the radio buzzed to life you’re done for-
YO IM A WRITTING GENIUS YALL STG I GOT A WHOLE PLOT IN MY HEAD
Aerith would have some massive beef with Cissnei if she knew the truth.
I have been thinking about it more, and the beach scene in Crisis Core where Cissnei — seemingly out of no where, for no good reason — blurts out to Zack that Aerith is being watched because she's the last known Ancient?
Aerith can't even approach Zack herself on her own terms to share this deeply guarded secret about her life, that's another thing that has been stripped away from her.
It does make me sad when people claim that Xander is useless to the show, when The Zeppo shows that he honestly thinks that too, and he's really sad about it. Don't kick him while he's down. The only person who's allowed to do that is Cordelia.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN ADRIEN GETS TO SPEAK IN THE NEW MIRACULOUS INTRO??
I'm sure this is not a new idea, but I was thinking about Return of the Jedi for the first time in a while, and I realized that I hadn't properly grappled with Luke's effect on Anakin. I reduced the scene down to love for his son turning Anakin, which is definitely a big part of it. But Anakin had love (the warped version he understood anyway) for Padme, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan too, and that didn't stop him from treating them as enemies in the end.
Luke has a different effect on him, so what could be different about Luke (or probably Leia, if she were in the same position, imo). I don't think it's that they are family by blood alone, though that probably plays into it. I always knew Vader was a reflection of Luke and that is what Empire set up in the Dagobah cave. But I never thought about it the other way around too- Luke especially is a mirror of Anakin the same way Anakin is a mirror of Luke. Luke forces Anakin to actually confront himself and self-reflect in a way that he just doesn't do, because normally he's the least self-aware character in the galaxy. Sometimes people just need someone to look at who unavoidably reminds them of themself to actually reflect on their actions. Luke represents not just the Jedi of old but caring for family, fighting for good, a youthful brashness, and a conviction that Anakin doesn't have anymore. While everyone else Anakin considered family couldn't affect him similarly, Luke just looks like a young Anakin in cadence and spirit, and it might be that simple.
