So, my folks and I have been watching a show called Small Town Security. It's absolutely hilarious and I love all the characters.

I especially love how Joan is so supportive of Dennis. This show was ahead of it's time.

Also Lamb Chop is a good boi. Edit: good girl

worth watching

ok, i have been watching this show called “small town security”.  it is exactly what it sounds like - a docuseries on a small town security agency.  up front, seems like another cheap reality show - but it’s...beautiful (and please believe me when i say i know my way around netflix reality shows).  the characters are surprisingly eloquent and come to really complex and interesting conclusions about their lives.  plus their relationships are nutso - dennis is in love with chief but chief is married to lewin, but she’s in love with brian, and brian is engaged to someone else.  on top of that, dennis is going through transgender surgery from female to male, and his story is inspiring and rewarding, and the unquestionable acceptance from his coworkers is a truly humbling thing to watch.  and it’s all so incredibly real.  watch this show.  it’s on netflix.
