During our test of the new KLX300, we loaded it up with this minimalist soft bag setup from Giant Loop that is ideal for day trips and shorter adventures where you are riding from hotel to hotel. It starts with the Mojavi Saddlebag, which mounts conveniently with three straps. It's made with heavy-duty bombshell material and has sufficient space for a light change of clothes, an extra layer, toiletries, sandals, a first aid kit, and more. We used the Mojavi's Molle lash points to attach a Possibles Pouch on top and loaded it with tools and a spare tube. Then up front, the Buckin' Roll Tank Bag carries all your essentials (e.g. snacks, multitool, goggle rag, lip balm, tire pressure gauge, etc.) but stays completely out of the way on the trail. A charging cable pass-thru channel also lets you power a handlebar-mounted GPS from a battery pack, or use the clear top pocket to store your phone while keeping an eye on important messages.
