"Sis.......No one came for thanksgiving.......What am I gonna do with all this food I made?....." Ruby sniffled, rubbing her eye. She was planning a massive feast with all of her and Yang's friends and extended family. But it looked like it would just be them this year. The food glistened on the table, giving off a fresh, warm scent. Ruby seemed like she'd be even more disappointed if all this food she worked hard on would have to get thrown away.
“D-Don’t cry Ruby! We’ll figure out something to do with the food! Trust me, none of your hard work or effort will go to waste at all, I can promise you that!”
Yang’s gonna make the people who didn’t show up for the dinner pay, but not before she steals some turkey and stuffing for herself. Once she gets her fill, then everyone pays.

“Ruby... You’ve already eaten your body weight in cookies and had a half pot of coffee. Is it such a good idea for you to start eating that cake also?” Blake asked dryly while raising an eyebrow. The little Scythe wielder was quite a character, and the Faunus adored her. But sometimes Ruby didn’t know when to call it quits, especially when sugar and caffeine were involved. With her book in one hand and a cup of tea in the other, Blake turned back to said book and raised the teacup to her lips slowly.

Blake raises her hand. “Can you show me how good at those things you are? Just to prove your point!”
“Show you? Of course! I can give a full-bodied example, Blake~” the muscular-bodied Rose moved close to the feline faunus with a sway to her hips, then her arms both wrapped around her waist, and pulled her close to her soft chest, and then she began kissing her face. Seemed Ruby was eager.

“It’s Blake and me for sure.”
“Blake and I.”
“No way!” Yang made an X shape with her hands. “Weiss, you and Blake might look cool together, but your fighting styles don’t compliment each other that well.”
“Well that wasn’t my main point,” Weiss sighed. “But now that you mention it you’re definitely wrong. Blake and I work swimmingly together.”
“Really?” Blake cut in. “Thanks, Weiss. But... I actually think Ruby and I work best together.”
“You do?!” Ruby chirped. “I mean I think we’re good together too, but Yang and I have grown up together! We have such good chemistry.”
“Hell yeah we do!” her sister agreed. “Then again I also kick a lot of ass with Weiss. We didn’t get sent into the Vytal Tournament for nothing.”
“You have a point,” Weiss agreed. “But Ruby and I are partners. I’d say our fighting methods might be the most compatible.”
“Awww, Weiss~!” Ruby cooed and gave her partner a big hug.
“But Weiss,” Blake said, feigning hurt. “You’d said we worked so well together.”
“W-Well hold on now, that’s not what I-”
“Calm down,” Blake chuckled. “I was kidding. Besides, Yang and I definitely work best together anyway.”
“That’s what I was sayin’ from the start!” Yang slung an arm around her partner. “But then again... Ruby and I kick ass, and Weiss and I always have each other’s backs.”
“And,” Blake said. “I do work really well with Ruby. And Weiss is always protecting my blind side.”
“And,” Weiss added. “While I do think Ruby is my partner for a reason, Yang and I have excellent chemistry, and Blake is always alert and looking out for me.”
“How about!” Ruby said. “We all admit that we all work best with each other in different situations!”
The other three all smiled and shared glances.
“Well said, Ruby.”
“You’re right.”
“That’s why you’re the leader, sis!”
Ruby giggled and opened her arms, and the three of them came together to wrap each other in a warm team hug.

“Weiss!” Yang called, kneeling next to her bike, “You’re good with precise details, right?” she groaned, seeming to be examining something that--even with her metal arm--she couldn’t quite fix. “Could you just--come over here for a second?”
“Do you need a hug?” From Blake.
She held onto her teammate without a second thought.
“Yeah...”
“To be fair, that swimming piece of crap was considerably big, and jumped right into my face once.”
