Nine Pieces of Silverware
"Instead of dumping an entire task on someone, we can break it down into pieces."
One of my just-turned-three granddaughter’s jobs is to empty the silverware holder from the dishwasher. She stands on a silver two-step stool and puts the silverware into the correct places in the drawer. Getting her to do this chore is a bit of a battle.
