Highschool AU
He despised the mindless banter that surrounded him. He hated the way high pitched female voices echoed through the hallway, the way guys bragged about themselves, the way that they all moved in groups, like being on their own was a curse. It was as if he was thrown into an anthill, a complete stranger to their ways, and so undeniably lost.
Being put through having to adapt to yet another setting was tiresome, especially since shifting from one school to another was something he had done often over a short period of time, always because of his wild temperament and hot-headed nature. Why was it always his fault when there were idiots that needed to be shown where they belonged?
He wasn't there to make friends. In fact, the only person he ever considered a friend, a thin ginger boy who was just as lonely as him, had to be left behind as he had no choice but to follow his parents, who were searching for work.
His musings have been interrupted as he found his new classroom and glanced at the students. None showed any interest in him. They were all seniors and knew each other from young age. Who had the time or the will to welcome the newcomer?
There was a vacant spot in the back of the room which seemed perfect for him, he didn't wish to be noticed at all. He sat down and continued to observe his fellow classmates. He leaned back in his chair, fixating his gaze at the straight edge of his desk, wishing for nothing more but for the day to come to an end soon.
