If you haven’t been to @joyhouse.coffee in Garrison yet - now is a great time to go! Their December drink menu is absolutely to die for (swipe to see!) and I fully plan on attempting to try it all! So far I’ve tried the eggnog cold brew and it is absolutely delightful! Who knew that Garrison has a super hip coffee ☕️ shop right on main?? I do, now! 🙌🏻 I went on a coffee run and ran into old family friends from when I lived in Garrison in the 90s. If it weren’t for the masks 😷 and the fact that we were in a cool coffee shop I would have thought I was in a time machine! How fun. I actually remember this building being various things over the years - originally (in the 80s) an old grocery store with tin ceilings and wooden floors. Glad to see those have lasted! Consequently, my family friends told me that this is where they first met me in 1989 - when it was still a grocery store.
