Cheryl's photo booth memories part 2 and the story: "I introduced my best pal to him that night. She shook his hand and said, 'you played kick out the jams. We’re from Detroit so MC5, right?' It dawned on her she was literally touching Jeff. She looked at us both and said, 'I just can’t' and walked away. 😂 She left me alone with him, no wingman. So, I smugly suggested the booth and he strongly declined. The look on my face went to smug punk to wounded fan. I was hurt, but he found me. I did a couple shots and was ordering a pint. It was an afters show put on by Sony Records-so open bar. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I thought it was my friend, and when I turned it was Jeff. He realized although I understood the decline to my photo invitation, I had no game face. I was devastated he said no, but he asked me to join him in the photobooth. 1st pic shows it all since I planted a smooch, Last pic encapsulates why he said no to start with. Him trying to get out of there. I stood guard waiting for the photos to come out of the machine. Jeff was standing by the bus. I asked him to sign the pics (which you can see in the first pic). I was so wasted, I said, 'I can’t possibly see that, sign the back.' 😂 Hot mess." Many thanks again to her for sharing these gems!
