Dropping it here since this helped with my dog because I kept thinking he just needed more exercise and that wasn’t really the problem. We already do the normal stuff. the walks every day, fetch, toys around the house. It probably looks like he’s getting plenty of activity. But he’d still come inside and act restless. Walking around, grabbing random things, staring at me like I forgot something. Then my friend told me about dog toys for mental stimulation, and it kind of clicked. Dogs can get enough physical exercise but still be bored mentally. Their brain still needs something to work on. I started mixing in toys that actually make him figure things out instead of just chasing something for a minute. Stuff like KONG classic toys you can stuff with food, puzzle toys, and even those treat-dispensing balls where they have to roll it around to get the food out.
