I’m sorry Ryan, you WHAT NOW??? (This is proof positive, imo, of a common headcanon that if Ryan were to happen upon a k*nk of Shane’s, he would become obsessed with finding out more and would end up on an Internet deep dive (Nord VPN!)
(Also he goes on to say that he wouldn’t use the word s*xual to describe Shane and it’s like...what counts as being outwardly s*xual enough to garner that as a characteristic? XD Does Ryan think of himself as being s*xual? :o )

The notes are a bit longer because he waffled back and forth between “these aren’t characters I would bang” to “yeah I’d bang Ursula” to “yeah, Fifi’s a smoke show.” Some people thought he might be faking some or all of his picks, some didn’t. Either way makes for good fic. So, I’ll just be typing my HCs as if they were all legit, for fun XD

I go by madamecrimson on AO3.
I’m just your average run-of-the-mill fan of Buzzfeed: Unsolved, Try Guys, and Watcher Entertainment.
I’ve been involved in consuming/creating fan content since 2003. The fandoms I previously actively participated in were for mainstream/non-YouTube shows. For the longest time, it seemed like celebrities were largely unaware of the breadth of fan content that existed but more and more they started talking about it in interviews. As the celebrities appeared to be sort of uncomfortable about it, I refrained from creating any sort of rpf content until about last year.
Last year, I started getting into the Try Guys and saw their The Try Guys Recreate Fan Fiction video. I was amused and pleasantly surprised to see that not only were they acutely aware that there was fanfiction about them out there, they were actually amused by it. I saw many YouTube videos of YouTubers having similar reactions.
I don’t know how aware Ryan, Shane, and Steven are about their fanfiction content as I haven’t (thus far) heard them mention it. However, they seem like they do appreciate some of the fan art and fan videos that come out of their fandom or they otherwise stay away from fan content.
I recently saw a video where jacksepticeye did an interview where he expressed that fan content that involves his best friend markiplier and himself, makes him uncomfortable.
I currently make fan content for the fandoms I listed above and would 100% cease if any of them expressed that they were bothered by it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that for the most part, these fandoms ensure that they keep fanfiction and similar content hidden.
This account and my AO3 account exist to appreciate the fan creation side of my fandoms only and to interact with other fans only, on sites that keep content hidden. I have a separate account on which I appreciate the content directly upon which my fandoms are based, and it is on that account only that I comment on videos etc.
I have also lowkey been stanning a few people’s fandom accounts and this seems to be the easiest way to interact with them.
Anything with the prefix “fan” or the “suffix” fiction should indicate that something is not real, but I am stating here that I the content I create is 100% fictional.
Everything here (unless directly quoting or directly referencing something canonical in terms of content or social media posts) is fictional.
The types of fictional content this blog may contain include: content or social media post head canons/interpretations, fanworks, and general shipping shenanigans.
I ship Shyan, Smashr, and Steshyan as well as any/all of these + additional polycule people.
Just to note again here, I have marked my blog as containing mature content as the majority of posts will. This will usually be of a sexual and kinky nature. I have a non-NSFW blog but I want to keep them separate lmao. So yeah, 18+ only on here.
