Is it just me or do other SMs have a weird hatred for variety or talent show type shows?! I find them so stressful and always underprepared

Being a high school stage manager is cutting 304 tickets out by hand because the paper cutter is too dull to use

Does anyone else get rehearsal burn out? Lately I've been so unfocused and I'm not being a good SM. I just feel so unmotivated and uninspired. It's so frustrating because I want to love it (and I do!) but I just feel so impatient with the whole thing right now. TIA for any advice :)
