Ugh everyone is just so sad that usagi has to suffer like this, and yet they don’t know how to help her.

In comes venus to break that tension for usagi’s sake

she just cares so much for usagi that she kneels down to make her more comfortable and asks her questions to help get her to start calming down. She just cares so much for usagi, all she wants is for her to live happy and carefree and venus will try her best to give that to her.

look at mina doing usagi’s bun so delicately, her tiny little pat on top of usagi’s bun, how she comments on how long it is (and no doubt also impyling its pretty) and her gentle expression as she adds the last pin

mako brought a mirror to show usagi how her hair looks. Usagi already knows what her hair is going to look like, she’s done this so many times, but mako went ahead and got it for her anyway. She wants to assure her that she is still going to look as cute as ever.

And then in the corner we have ami and rei taking care of usagi’s other twintail. Im going to say one of them has the scissors and the other is brushing her hair.

The best thing about this is how the whole act is about giving usagi the support she needs. The girls coming over to take care of something for usagi is proof that they truly care for usagi, they went that extra mile to take care of hair so that she could feel better and raise up her confidence
