Told y’all I wasn’t going to leave you high and dry! Ninth chapter of my haunt actor AU is here!

Refresher:

You've gotten a job as a haunt actor at one of the country's most popular amusement parks. One thing that draws in guests is the fact that this park includes some of the most advanced animatronics that are accessible to the public in such a way.

Encounter animatronics, amazing guests, terrible guests, learn the ins and outs of haunt acting...

and perhaps, you'll get close to the jester.

Eye light ideas, don’t shoot I did my best on my phone bc I have nothing but MS. Paint and the markup tool to work with.

Calm/overwhelmed- kind of the “default” (although sometimes moon’s eyes simply go dark, but red is the common appearance) this appearance can be due to two wildly opposing feelings similar to how people can be “blank” both when feeling completely neutral or overwhelmed.

Angry/frustrated/aggressive/scanning (for injuries/guest profiles)

On edge/“target acquired”/defense- moon’s would probably be slightly more narrow, that’s my bad I got stubby sausage fingers & drawing on my tiny phone is hard. These eyes are common for when they’re stressed, when they’ve picked a “target” in my haunt actor AU, and when they’re acting as the “scary dog privilege” or getting between unruly guests and other actors.

Excited/on the hunt/offense- similarly to the last I think Sun’s would be slightly bigger, just the tiniest but not quite as large as moon’s and certainly lacking the catlike shape. This is for when they’re excited about something, they’re actively going after a guest in my haunt actor AU (or later for moon during my to be written Pizzaplex fic), and when they have to take on a more physical role in stopping unruly guests.

Work is still kicking my ass, the whole team is just about at the end of their rope- BUT!!! I still managed to get this done!!!

I regret to inform y’all that the next chapter of my Sun & Moon x Reader haunt actor AU fic won’t be for a few more days!

Work has been draining, & ofc I just had to be American which meant all my time off was spent recovering from work/cleaning the house bc dad wanted to host folks for fuckin 4hrs just to feed em and kick them out, and then he signed up to have a nibling stay, and that is just one person too many for me to vibe in peace at night, so regretfully, the chapter will be late once again.

Anyone remember when I mentioned having a backup chapter? Yeaaahhh that got lost in the shuffle to secure chapter length. My apologies.

Upside is!!! This upcoming Monday and Tuesday, I will be off, the house will be clean (so I will have absolutely nothing else to stress about) and I will be able to recreate my “writers nest” and truly get back to work!

I did spend some of my free time reading other fics, and replying to comments (on mine and replies to my comments on other fics) and I think I’ve finally let go of some of the stress that was also leading to me taking longer than I usually would to write something for fun.

The sillies will connect & grow closer however they may. I am neurodivergent myself, and trying to figure out how close at what speed in that setting for neurotypicals was actually a big struggle for me (which I think I sucked at ANYWAY!!!) so I’ve decided, my readers will simply have to deal w the fact that an AuDHD idiot is running this show, and in my world I still form close bonds like kids do- chat for 5 min, the vibe is right, we are now ride or die & I love you (platonically.)
