Never fear! I have not forgotten it, though it does sit neglected on the side right now. I need to get I, Alone finished and Son for a Daughter before I dig into that one. Some stories just take a lot of thought and consideration and that's what I plan for KoKoa. Do you know I picked up Lolita from the library the other day and I plan on reading that to aid me in crafting and understanding this? Also, I plan on watching the documentary, Cutie and the Boxer which features a couple with a large age difference.
When I have no personal experience, I research - read like mad or talk to people to better understand what certain things are like. I'm interested in the emotional impact, you know? And want to bring authenticity into my stuff, yeah, even though it's just fanfiction, as my son would put it, lol. All of it is sharpening my skills, that's the way I see it.
