I finally made it to the final day of the incredibly mobilizing scent exhibition on the weekend at @miankigallery by #christophelaudamiel (with pairings by #detlefhalfa). Thank you for the recommendation @ola.pawlowska ! The First Scent Supper Menu brought me on an emotional ride through ever-surprising terrain. Each scent bringing me to a landscape of memory i never could have predicted. Post from two years ago.. could have been written today. Nature is always right on time. ... #smellmemory " I wish i could give you smell-a-vision, wet earth and honey, a wind with drive and purpose, white skies white barn, and oh so much green. I had no flowers in May, but June tho nearly started, is full of buds, and a perfume of honey suckle. #honeysuckle tapped into a wonderful memory of recess in grade school, standing at the edge of a wood, smelling and licking the sweet honey sap.
