nail artist, has a tiktok and youtube full of vids of her doing nail art. loves monster trucks and murder mystery films. isnt very keen on house chores at all, its just not her bag yknow? no children yet and no real plans for them as she sees what motherhood did to her mother; but will babysit her younger cousins for a fee.

Mrs. Kath Pimling [gave her the first name kath to pay homage to the australian comedy show kath and kim]

was a stay at home mom once she had her first child, pim. only once amy, her youngest, got into high school did she go back into the job market and got a job as a cleaner which left her very tired after working. drink helps her cope with pain from work, and the frustration of her asshole husband (who she has plans to divorce). she used to love roller skating in her youth and romance movies are her jam!

Zoey

the type of girl to have a different job every other week she never appears to stay tied down to one job for long as she knows what she's worth and refuses to be taken advantage of by a job. currently doing a masters degree in between all the jobs and in her downtime when she isnt studying or working shes playing video games and playing dungeons and dragons online. has finished baulders gate a million times.

Marge Simpson

busy woman running her own business! marge runs her own boutique store in town where it specializes in making clothing for critters and seeing how critters come in such a variety of shapes, sizes, as well as number of limbs she keeps herself very busy. she overlooks the materials, the production, designs, every step of creating these clothes. she gets a lot of commissions!

realization that the Dolly Dimpley series is the unintentional companion piece to Protagonist Object Show

One of the central themes of ProtOS that becomes gradually apparent: how popular narrative content and the fanbase around it tends to favor focusing on characters with certain characteristics and how that is unfair to those that may not fit that mold. This divide is in some fashion diagetically illustrated within the story. We experience this from the perspective of Lampy, the sort that stands to benefit from this inequity, the one character who recieves the lion's share of focus. Notice Metro Card's belief stated late in the story that they shouldn't be the protagonist because they lack the certain traits they believe a 'perfect fit' would. "He's the kind of person everyone can relate too! He's a boy! He's just the right shape! [...] I'm none of that."

Notice Dolly's anguished rant after her growing desperation to just be included in the conversation ultimately explodes: "What's wrong with me that you guys won't tell me?!" followed by her feeling she must apologize for how she acts, how she looks, how different she is from all the guys...

So, everyone meet Victoria’s friend group outside of work. Just a bunch of middle aged women (except spangles) who have no idea what they’re doing with their lives. Also yes, all of them are critters because why not.
