While those unnecessarily smug village commuters shift awkwardly between the lingering aroma of piss and last night's garbage rolling stock at West 4th, Gowanus and Red Hook residents await travel on their platform in the sky, gazing out at the freedom tower in the distance (or alternatively IKEA, to the southwest).
Smith & 9th even kicked ass in all this frosty weather we've had of late. Okay, 'kicked ass' might be generous. But hey, it stayed open. And people got to instagram photos of the above and feel productive. Win?
