Further observations from my day on the floor. I really really like the smell in the Smith Gallery; my life is already in a museum, from my primary school classmates in a display, and an Amiga 500, to a Hoovermatic washing machine (I hate these with a passion); I did not see any obvious #tinderdates but the Museum is a great safe place for any social date, there are lots of easy conversation starters; and my QR code links are broken, so there’s a job for Monday! So, I walked around 11km, over 16,000 steps and interacted with hundreds of visitors (total for the day was in the region of 2,000, visitors fairly standard on a cruise ship day, busy days are 3,000+). Back to the regular day job tomorrow . . . #directorlife #howdoyoumuseum #smithgallery #toituotagosettlersmuseum #lovewhereyouwork (at Toitū Otago Settlers Museum)
