Noah shivered his teeth chattering against each other, of all nights it just had to be the coldest night of the week, he had the misfortune of falling into a pond earlier and getting himself soaked, and as his luck would have it his usual places to warm up, the gas stations and the laundry mats, were already closed for the night, the only hope he had now was that his body could generate enough heat to last him through the night. Hissssssss
He jerked his head up at the sound of a hiss nearby and sighed with relief as he spotted white looking smoke come spewing out of a nearby pipe, most likely from someone's dryer running, he quickly stood up staggering with dizziness but somehow made it across the ally, collapsing onto the concrete and curling up to the pipe hoping it would be enough to warm him. It didn't take long for him to start coughing, a wheeze escaping his lips after it had stopped.
"Fuck!" He cursed a bit too loudly, the last time this had happened he had bronchitis and ended up sick for weeks, he was cold, wet and miserable and was almost sure was catching a fever.
Blue was wandering the alleyways, trying his best to stay away from any prying human eyes. When he had awakened and escaped that terrifying android landfill, Blue had foolishly hoped that somehow his life would be better than it was with Zlatko. Bhe was still miserable, lost, and hopelessly afraid. The humans he encountered had only either been terrified of his damage or beat him without cause--or both. So, he walked around aimlessly, finding hiding spots to rest when need be.
It was a very cold night and thanks to Zlako’s ruthless modifications, Blue could feel the harsh chill through his ragged clothes. His thirium moved much more slowly in his veins than usual as a layer of frost coated his dark, tousled hair.
The android jumped at hearing the sudden obscenity, crambling to hide behind the nearest dumpster. His thirium pump skipped several beats in fear as he realized it was a human. But, upon further inspection, Blue realized how miserable the man appeared. Remnants of his broken caretaker programming took over and he secretly scanned the human’s vitals. At this rate, the man might freeze to death.
Before really considering any further, Blue timidly slipped from his hiding spot and approached...-he pulled his tattered scarf away from his neck, unfortunately revealing the deep damage underneath. But he held out the scarf, gingerly offering it to the man. ”...-it’s...yes, it’s much too...too cold for humans, ” Blue stuttered nervously, ”...it...no, no it isn't safe.”
