These juicy baby back ribs will take you back to the real flavors of Memphis. With the right amount of smoke, sweetness, and sourness, these ribs will wow your barbecue guests.
Ingredients: 2 racks baby back ribs. 1/4 cup paprika. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 tablespoon black pepper. 1 tablespoon salt. 1 tablespoon chili powder. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/2 cup yellow mustard. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 cup molasses.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or smoker to 225F 107C. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor penetration. In a bowl, mix paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to create the rub. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs. Place the ribs on the grill, meat side up, and smoke for 3 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature. In a separate bowl, combine yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and molasses to create the sauce. After 3 hours, brush the ribs with the sauce, then wrap them in aluminum foil and return to the grill for another 2 hours. Unwrap the ribs and brush with more sauce. Grill for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize. Remove from the grill, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve. Enjoy these Memphis Style Baby Back Ribs with your favorite sides!
