ok i see you disturbed and i raise you this song. 'watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ' (that's the ending for youtube cause i can't type in entire links)
couldn’t listen all the way through | not my thing | it’s okay | kinda catchy | ok i really like this | downloading immediately | already in my library
HOLY SHIT 🔥 🔥 🔥
is it normal for a ball python (who has only taken two f/t rats in the past) to start eating a f/t rat without even striking or strangling it? he just found the head after ~15 minutes of exploring the container and just starting to eat it, no coiling or anything. was he just super hungry(last fed 7 days ago) and didn't care or is he accepting not being on live anymore?
Yup! Sounds like he’s all “oh, wait! This smell! It is FOOD! oh my god i KNOW this smell” and just went for it.
I've been calling them mayflies, careful touching them though, the legs fall off with the gentlest touch
Good to know! I haven’t poked at the one in my bathroom; last I saw of them, they flittered into my ivy plant that lives in there.
how much for a skeleton crab, like the ones you'd see at spirit halloween
I feel this would be a better question for Spirit Halloween's website and not a biology blog! o.o
any disturbed song ever. or like. the sound of silence. that's a good song right there. 100% 100% 100% yewahhh boi

I used to have orange/golden dubia roaches in my colonies, the males were absolutely gorgeous. But too much inbreeding lead to some regretful results :(
The orange ones are SO PRETTY. I don’t have oranges- the light gals are the first non-standards I’ve ever seen in my colony. What happened with the inbreeding, if you don’t mind me asking? I cycle out the adult males and introduce new females from time to time, but I haven’t really thought much about inbreeding depression in dubia.
