I assume it’s the name of a famous political leader? Like you can’t name a dragon Obama or something like that either. Probably to avoid political discord on the site.

May I request Todoroki with a S/O who’s super positive and upbeat all the time, but after a while he finds out she came from a similar situation as he did and in some cases still suffers from it- via night terrors? If this is too specific you can drop out some details aha— ( ´∀｀)

Todoroki Shouto

When he first meets you, he can’t help but feel blinded by your smile - it’s the brightest and widest he’s ever seen, which instantly makes him feel as if there’s something wrong

He’s used to people around him hiding their true feelings under a smile

Shouto won’t push the subject at all - however he does keep an eye on you when he knows you don’t notice just to see if you slip up in any way

Will always be ready in case that happens

Most of the time your happiness is contagious, and his worries get pushed aside for a while as you spend time together

Shouto saw the first red light one time when he was over at your house when your parents weren’t around and he accidentally walked in on you changing - he pretended not to notice the small brown scars that spotted part of your back and under your bra as he blushed while stuttering an apology and walked away, the thought running through his mind for the rest of the day

He decides he’s had enough the first time you spend the night together, and he spoons you close to his body for the night

At some point, he wakes up as he starts feeling more movement on the bed before you push him away in your sleep, your face contorted in pain while tears ran down your cheeks and onto the pillows

He sits up and watches you in horror, quickly trying to figure out what to do before deciding to wake you up - big mistake - when he shakes you lightly and calls out to you, you throw a punch that almost hits him right on the bridge of the nose

It takes him a couple more tries before he gets you to open your eyes only to realize you’re still in another place mentally; you mumble a lot, words unintelligible for him, and your eyes move frantically from side to side

He evades a few more attacks before wrapping his arms around you, bringing you close to him again as he makes you sit on his lap, caressing your hair and singing a little lullaby under his breath while he uses his right side to keep you warm

You eventually calm down but don’t wake up, instead looking up at him wearily and giving him a smile before cuddling to his chest again and falling asleep - Shouto places you back on the bed and covers you up properly before lying down, his eyes never leaving your form as he drifts back to sleep gradually

The next morning he wakes up before you, and when you get out of bed he’s waiting for you in the kitchen with freshly made breakfast; he doesn’t ask a single thing about the events from the last night even if it’s eating away at him

He decides to ask about your family, and when he sees your body stiffen a bit as you tell him glossing over most details he feels the need to pry it out of you just to understand your situation completely

Saying nothing, Shouto walks over to you and envelops you in a tight hug before he feels you crying in his embrace - he listens closely if you decide to explain your situation right then and there, telling him about your troubled childhood and the problems you had had with your own father as well, much like he has had

From then on he feels even closer to you and it’s as if he understands you better now; he’s super thankful that you could open up to him, and makes a mental note to remind you of your worth and of how much you mean to him more and more each day (he also wants to shower you with everything you love just to keep your mind off the bad stuff)

Tells you to call him if you need it when he’s away, even if it’s late at night, he’ll be there for you

Will also be able to tell more often when you’re feeling down underneath your smiles, and you can bet your ass he’ll be there in a heartbeat, wrapping an arm around you and holding you close until he feels your smile is genuine
