Thank you for your kind words and I’m so sorry to hear that. I know it’s hard, I’ve been there, failing to get into college I wanted and the next time I was accepted into my second choice, mom didn’t like it and it beat me down even more, but you’ll get in. I know you can and will and I hope this can cheer you up just a little if not completely. I believe in you @smolfangirlbrat and I know you can kick these exams into their nuts or shove them down your enemy’s hole. Not sure where that came from, but you’ll be okay. Kurokoimmediately knows something is up when your smile does reach your eyes. He doesn’tpush you, but he lets you know he’s there for you. He comforts you when youtell him and doesn’t say anything until you let it all out. He holds you, for amoment unsure what to say. “It’s okay, [Name], there’s always a second chance,isn’t there? Perhaps sometimes we’re destined to fail to get better resultssecond time. I know that if I say don’t let it get to you, won’t work, but I’mhere and it’s okay to fail.” He kisses you on top of your head, his embraceonly tightening, having no intention of letting you go any time sooner.
Kise doesn’tsee it in the beginning, but by the end of the day, he knows something iswrong. He can wait, but not for long, because curiosity gets to him and hewants to know it. He finds out quickly after he confronts you. He doesn’thesitate to swarm you with hugs and caresses that breaks you and he smiles,appreciating you’re letting it go and showing him instead of bottling yourfeelings inside. “Just let it out, [Name]-cchi…” He whispers, kissing the crownof your head. “It’s okay to feel upset and angry if you didn’t get accepted.But promise me one thing,” he pulls away and cups your face, “don’t give up onyour dreams. Ever.”
Midorimaknows how much these exams meant to you and how much you both studied inlibrary. He loves that side of you that never gives up on anything. He knowswhen you’re getting the results and he expects for you to be accepted, sincethe amount of time you put into studying made even him jealous of how dedicatedyou were. But when he sees your expression change from worry to sadness, heknows you weren’t accepted. He’s unsure how to approach you as you shut away,but he tries. “I’m sorry you weren’t accepted.” He begins and sighs when youflinch at the cruel reminder. “There’s still a second time, isn’t there?” heasks, somehow unsure. “I’m sorry. I’m not good at cheering people, but I wantyou to know that I’m here and if you want to, we can work on this together. You’renot alone.”
Aomine doesn’tsay anything when he sees something is wrong. He remains silent and ondistance, but watches your every move, trying to figure out what happened. He doesn’tlike to see you feel down, sad or upset. He knows how much you studied for theentrance exams and seeing you sad only means you weren’t accepted. He saysnothing as he pulls you into his arms, letting you bury your head in his chest.He rubs your back as he tries to come up with words. Even though he’s quiet,you know he knows. And somehow you appreciate his quietness. Sometimes wordsaren’t needed and that’s okay too.
Murasakibarais surprised when he sees you sitting on the bed in his bedroom, holding a bowlof snacks in your hands. He knows something is up when you don’t greet him,like you don’t even see him. For some reason he doesn’t mind in the beginning,but the longer you keep to yourself, more annoyed he becomes. He soon finds outwhere the problem lies and for a moment he wonders if he should approach youdirectly, but Himuro gives him an idea. You wonder from who and the reason whyyou suddenly have your favourite chocolate/snack on your bed every day, but youdon’t mind. In the beginning you frown and ask, but getting no answer, you eatit. For that moment, it helps.
Akashi forsome reason knows beforehand of the results and seeing his act towards you, youknow you didn’t pass. For a moment you wonder how you should feel, but whenAkashi embraces you in his arms and tells you he’s proud of you of what youachieved till now and that you can always retake exams, you relax. That weekendhe takes you to your favourite place in Kyoto and spoils you, even if you tellhim that it’s okay and that in a way you expected you’ll fail. But Akashi hasnone of that and you just let him, knowing he won’t stop until he himself issure that you’re okay. He knows how much those exams meant to you and he’llhelp you in any way possible, just to see your dreams come true.
Imayoshi knowswhen you receive your answer only to tear it apart, gritting your teeth. He doesn’tsay anything, knowing it can only worsen the situation so all he does is walkto you and cups your face. “Even if you pass or fail, I love you and I’ll helpyou out if you wish.” You’re not sure how, but when you meet him in publiclibrary, he has the university exams with him and you go through them, Imayoshiexplaining if there’s something you don’t know. He takes his time and ispatient, making sure to take breaks when needed and stop you from overworking.
