Smooth Aster (Symphyotrichum laeve)
Planted 22/05/25 and some 2024
Why two you ask? Because I fucked up and planted one that was meant for another spot there last year and it came back haha. It's all good. It might die smothered by the new england asters but oh well. They should look like this if I prune them correctly.
Placed them in the sunniest side and probably too close to each other, but it's fine if some don't make it. Yet again everything eats asters specially in the fall so I expect everything and anything to show up. It would be so so so sick if I could get the Pearl Crescent butterfly (Phyciodes tharos) to lay its babies on these asters.
Fresh smooth aster by the incredibly talented David Joseph Kline of Metamorph Tattoo in Chicago. What a sweet experience!
"So..."
Send me "So..." to hear what my character would say to yours after casual sex.
Aster stared up at the ceiling, a hand over his chest holding the blankets up. 'So...' indeed. Jack's voice hung awkwardly in the air between them as Aster tried to figure out what exactly had just occurred between them.
Sex, obviously. That fact was inescapable. Casual sex. There had been no talking, no agreements, nothing. They'd just...fallen into his bed together and things had gone in a rather unprecedented direction. He coughed awkwardly "So..." he said back to Jack, risking a glance over at him. "That was- You were- I mean," the Australian coughed again, unable to look at Jack. "That was good..." he concluded lamely.
Jeez! What was he a twelve year old? He'd just had casual sex with someone he knew quite well! And that was all he could come up with? "We should go out some time."
