Hello everyone! A bit of a different post today. Yesterday, I was able to enjoy another visit to the Indianapolis Zoo, and I had a very interesting (and long…bless her for her patience) conversation with the employee who was keeping watch over the touch pool. She told me that all of the sharks and rays have names, because they all have their own little markings that set them apart! Typus Data started with the hope to teach people about how even fish can be their own unique individuals, so this was very exciting to hear. This photo feature Pancake (large) and Flapjack (small), their two great southern stingrays! I’ll be sure to make some additional visits to learn more of the individuals housed there so that I can share with all of you! Every time I see sharks and rays, it really helps motivate me to work on TD again. This year has been a bit rough for me but I hope to get back into the swing of things. 💙 #indianapoliszoo #indyzoo #shark #sharks #smoothdogfish #dogfish #dogfisharesharkstoo #elasmobranch #fishofinstagram #stingray https://www.instagram.com/p/CXvzdDiOzYC/?utm_medium=tumblr
