lets get down to business | flynn & thackery

IT WASNT VERY often the younger friend needed advice, especially on girls. he was never shy around them, and never needed advice on how to talk to them. thackery was a charmer in his own right. however, ever since minnie came into his life, the binx boy couldn't tell his left from right, or his up from down. perhaps talking to his friend would help gain some perspective. he'd probably never live it down.

thackery made his way to flynn's place , knocking on the door. " flynn? you better be home. " he thought about seeing if the door was unlocked and opening it. he refrained; he wasn't in the mood to walk in on whatever was happening behind that door. // Closed starter for @smoulderingrogue

             IT WAS ANOTHER busy day at the newspaper. being the only main publication in town, elias today was constantly trying to keep up with the news. it had been a while since anything groundbreaking had happened, but there was a new dish at the rose diner that the paper was waiting on a review of. it was supposedly a mix between mac n cheese and taco salad.

annabel banks sat at her desk, working away at her editorial for the next day's paper. she always wrote a little something. she was a writer in her bones, but being editor in chief of a newspaper didn’t allow much time for writing. her time was spent more going over articles written by other people and arranging the paper. the editorial was her way of getting back to her roots. 

she was deep in thought when she heard a knock at her door. she didn’t glance up, too invested in this small editorial about her favorite meals to cook on busy nights with two kids. “ come in, “ she said, half expecting it to be her food critic. // closed starter for @smoulderingrogue

Mary constantly carries her umbrella in public. She has many reasons for doing so, but most of all it’s because of the fact that it houses her familiar

Honey prefers to wear long sleeves. She is in a lab all day and is constantly cold, so it’s not uncommon to see her bundled up with a cardigan even if the weather is nice out. She might also have low iron as well but ignores it.
