July 2021 Release Notes ☀️

System Improvements / Additions

When using the Summarize by Billing Code setting on statements the guest name and room number / employee information now displays on the Item Details section of statements.

Added a setting for delivery manifests to summarize order information instead of listing full details.

Improved Will Call Opt-In Text so that the text is still sent when a customer has an active order if the order’s due date is in the future.

Added a dropdown filter for Brand everywhere the Agent dropdown filter exists.

Bulk Markin Feature - Select Bulk Markin from the station options in the top right corner. In this module you can scan heat seals for different customers and when you finish the system will create orders with the items you scan for each customer.

Improved Search Scan Hierarchy

Route Manager now shows customers with unvalidated addresses at lat/long 0,0 for easy identification.

Enabled the address override feature in the Route Manager.

Added support for Canadian 6 digit postal codes.

Improved System & Cloud Security

Added ability to set a customer discount or promotion via our API.

MP Storage conveyor unload can now sort the delivery sub accounts of a delivery master account by sub account.

April 2021 Release Notes 🍃

Login & Clock In - You can now set PIN codes for employees to log in and clock in when not remotely accessing the system. Any keyboard scanner can now be used to login or clock in with a badge.

KPIS - Added YTD and Last Year Sales to Customer KPIs & Customer Statistics screen and improved the KPI editor UI.

Sales Tax - Added the ability to set up a tax rule that only applies for specific routes and stores in addition the the department and zip code rules that already exist.

Ready Notification - Ready notification is now based on return location. So if a route customer has an order to pick up in store they’ll receive a text when it’s ready. This is helpful for when you need a route customer to schedule the delivery of a specific order as the link in their text will let them schedule a delivery for active orders.

Routes - We’ve added a setting that allows you to lock the stop order of a route after manually optimizing. This is useful when you optimize a route and don’t want any new stops to trigger the automatic optimization.

Metal Progetti 24/7 - Fixed a rare issue where the customer would have to log back in to pickup their orders after dropping off.

International Updates - Improved search to handling international phone formats, added support for different currency denominations, Auth.net gateway improvements for card on file.

September Releases 🎁✨

-Garment photo system now works with web cameras in addition to network cameras.  This will work in detailing for individual items using the “Take Photo” button.

- Create a notification if a customer updates delivery instructions.

- Added a setting to show all item details on assembly tickets and order/invoices including spots, description, alterations, special cares, damages, fabric, pattern, colors, and item notes. The settings are called Show Item Details on Ticket and Show Item Details on Order Receipt. They are in the Receipt settings section of the admin System Settings.

- SMRT now requires a customer to add an address before they can complete their route request on the customer site.

- Improved user experience for customer signup / first pickup scheduling.

- Added customer demographic (top spender etc.) to segment data, also ensure custom fields such as birthday and referral source are sent to segment. - Configure what Item Details show on assembly receipts. Please reach out to us to configure this.

- Copy order description/notes on split.

- Ensure the fabrics field is copied when using the zebra barcode printing functionality to duplicate a detailed item.

- Added setting to show the route on the bag tag. - The Special Care Pricelist design has been improved.

- Added capability to organize special cares into subfolders, configured in the new special care Pricelist.

- Manual autopay button improvements: Does not send payment problem email on decline, returned batch term setting should also include orders if all due on the same day are ready.

- Added production setting so you can now use the split order button in detailing to create new orders without linking the orders as a split group. Please reach out to us to configure this. - Fixed issue with scrolling the load list in the delivery app. - Added ability for cash Special Cares to apply on $0 items, except when flagged as alter-only / rejects. Previously, SMRT wouldn't apply cash up-charges if the base price of the item was $0.

Detailing / ClothesTracker

We’ve added a special case for free discounts and "non-discountable surcharges". The price of a non-discountable surcharge is not supposed to be affected by any order discounts. However, we made a special case for free discounts where you definitely want the entire order to be free (including the surcharge).

Improved the stability of retail order creation.

Enhance the functionality to link customer preferences. Checkboxes can now apply different special cares to a set of items whereas before they could only apply a single special care.

Wash & Fold Weigh In and Out System - Ability to set W&F weight in and out to track the potential loss of garments. There's thus 3 weights for a wash and fold order: the weight at customer drop for giving the customer a price, the weight before cleaning and the weight after cleaning. After enabling the new system setting for this, and creating a wash & fold station, the system will now query for the weight in and weight out automatically upon scanning of a wash & fold ticket. If the in and out weights have a difference of more than 5% you will get a warning.

Issues, Notes, & Chat

Whenever a customer signs up on the website, we trigger a notification. We added a system setting to also have an issue created to ensure follow-ups.

Likewise, a system setting was added for automatically creating an issue whenever a customer schedules a delivery on the website. This is useful for tracking incoming on-demand delivery requests.

Show only relevant notes for an order when in the notes section of an order.

Sort all agent lists in system alphabetically

Added the ability to document report / KPI options. Added such documentation for the new start date & range operators.

Put retail items in picked up status instead of the default (detailed status) so their production bucket isn't washing. 

Metal Progetti

Resend the order to the storage conveyor right after unload, so you can load it again in case you made a mistake or the customer change their mind and didn't want to pickup. Previously you had to push a button under the ticket to resend to SMRT, now it's automatic. This also helps with failed deliveries.

Ensure a ticket is cleared from the storage system when it's picked up in SMRT, even if it's not paid. Previously we would only do this once paid and picked up. This caused a problem when you grabbed a ticket from the storage conveyor without unloading through the computer, after which you marked the ticket picked up in SMRT. We now inform the MP storage system that the order was picked up and it should consider the location empty.

Added sorting options for bulk unload. In addition, to stop order unload, you now can unload by reverse stop order, name (a-z) and name (z-a).

You can now unload any agent not just routes using the unload tool on the MP page. Everything for an agent that's on the conveyor will be unloaded (either fast unload or a-z or z-a sort).

When resetting an order, ensure we always resend the order to MP.

If you redirect the last piece of an order, remove its rack assignment (and allow rescan on MP).

Delivery

Improve stability of the delivery app database syncing.

Misc

When printing statements, sort the list alphabetically by customer last name.

Improve the performance of the printing system.

Improve formatting of bag tags for them to fit on more printers.

Eliminate/Reduce the "Minified react" errors.
