This multipurpose word uplifts and undercuts from one sentence to the next. Consider “land of opportunity” — a prideful, slogan-ish term with patriotic undertones. We stand proudly behind the idea that we live in a vast land of opportunity.

November Social Media Sports Meetup
Last month I hosted a second serving of Social Media Sports Meetup with another great panel. The speakers included Don Povia, Director of Sports & Entertainment at Carrot Creative and Anthony Caponiti, co-founder of Activ8Social. Thanks again to Tariq Ahmad for helping co-moderate the panel!
The main topic discussed this time around was sponsorship activations that leverage social media and sports. There was a healthy amount of discussion about Vine and how sports teams are using the platform. Everyone (including the attendees) shared their thoughts and unique perspectives on what is currently happening in sports & social. I thought the informal flow of the discussion was great and enjoyed seeing the attendees contribute as well.
