★ Which villains are your book baes?      If you haven’t read @katee_robert’s Wicked Villains series and you like romance that is extra smutty and a little dark, you must drop what you’re doing and check them out now. 😈       The series reimagines the Disney fairytales, with the villains as love interests. I’ve really loved reading these and had to grab the paperbacks for myself to share with y’all. ★ If you could time travel, would you go to the past or future?      So, my answer to this is typically future … BUT Y’ALL. SO. LET ME TELL YOU. 🤣      I finally dove into Calia Read’s (@ailacread) books and WOW. I never thought I would want to travel to the South IN THE PAST (of all places/times) … but here we are. 🤷🏻‍♀️       I finished The Surviving Trace a couple of days ago, but I was only a few chapters in before I *knew* this time-travel romance was going to be an instant favorite. I even went and ordered all of these books … before I even finished the first one. 😅 I really am that obsessed, already.      I actually have been wanting to read King of the South since it was released and was about to start it a few months ago, before I learned the Surviving Time trilogy was a connected prequel. Obviously, I had to read those first and I am so glad I decided to. I’ll be reading the rest of the books this month!     Needless to say, if you’re looking for a new series/author to jump into, add these to your TBR and move them to the top. There’s certainly some Outlander vibes with the time-travel plot, but the story overall is more modern.
