Yeah I know it says "former scientist" and "after recovery he's taken his duties back as scientist" but that is more of a "it won't get done if I don't do shit" kinda situation. He has a new occupation now. He can only work for so long on a simple task until he starts feeling very stressed and anxious.
Was attacked many years ago and left behind in a locked room for death. Has luckily been discovered and brought in to recovery.
To-Ken
To-Ken is a malfunctioning precursor who had by pure accident downlodaded a malware. He is highly agressive, will not hestitate to hurt you or anyone that comes too close. Has done a lot of body modifications on his vessel.
Is terrified of higher placed precursors like SN-OW, will avoid them at all costs.
Fe-Li
Curious baby, little fawn, can do no wrong, will trot after you to study you OR to figure out what the hell you are. She is tiny in precursor broodling standarts but quite big next to a human standing proudly with 5 feet in height.
Her age I have not thought about yet, but she is most likely under 100 or even under 50 years old, so literally just a newborn in their culture. Her fur is quite thick due to her vessel being unable to generate warmth of its own by now.
They do have caretakers that look after them but they tend to trot off, curious about everything and everyone.

AL-ANT
Bugitect, funny enough he only exists because of a simple haha funi meme. I had the nickname "AL-AN" on a server and the owner changed it to "AL-ANT" because I like ants-- thats why he exists.
For their purpose I think the bipedal vessels exist for them to squeeze into tighter spaces and to reach places that the "centaur" like vessels cannot reach. Their bodies are purely built for speed. The antenna, mandibles and other ant like traits are purely cosmetic choices that AL-ANT picked out
AL-PUP
AL-PUP is literally just AL-AN in a dog body. He's sentient still, yes, but a dog. Size wise he would be the same as a dire wolf, big pupper. Imagine if the body fabricator did an oopsie and this dog came out :)
SN-OW
The newest addition to the family so I have no ref neither much information about them. All I know is they're a "higher placed" architect and are responsible for those who are being reprogrammed or whatever that field is. They deal with rogue or cloned architects who have been brought to them.
