This is a random fact, and probably a weird post that no one asked for….but I have an entire drawer in my refrigerator dedicated to cheese. Not to cook with, but strictly for snacking.

Some of the booty from yesterday's bag swap with Mr. C, besides three more packs of Babybels and the sadly musty laundry*!
He apparently couldn't find any other individually wrapped snack cheeses last time, but did find some Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Minis this time! A bit of variety is welcome!
It's supposed to be 6 in the bag, but I was lucky and got 7 in this one. Just noticed because i ate one yesterday, and there were still 6 left when I pulled it out to get another.
These probably won't hold up nearly as well at room temperature as the waxed Babybels, so I really do not need to hoard them back. 🙄 Better to get them eaten up ASAP, especially in this hot weather.
And it's not like I don't have plenty of Babybels in reserve for now. 😅

* That wasn't as bad as I was afraid, at least. It was only a few newly washed items like that, thrown in with other things that were already clean when I left. So, I got someone to find me an empty bag to put the fresher few items in, and left the stanky ones in the bag they had already stunk up to just send back. A few things needed some airing, but hopefully they'll be OK after the best I could do.
Shit mornings mean a steady supply of fresh mozzarella and no consequences.
