Batteries Suck
I must say, I am truly surprised at how hard CES is on a phone's battery. I went from a full charge to under ten percent yesterday -- twice. I'm carrying two battery packs today. (I like the Tylt ones with the built-in Lightning cables.)
You're walking around inside giant concrete and steel boxes the whole time (convention centers, casinos, hotel rooms) so your phone is constantly working overtime to find a signal. On top of that, you're in perpetual Twitter, GroupMe, SMS and email mode. Like, all those networking apps on a loop. Plus liveblogging. It's an electron funnel.
