Hey guys! TokyoTreat sent me a box to review and I thought it’d be fun to throw in a speed paint with it!
It’s a monthly subscription service of Japanese candies and snacks delivered straight from Japan! So many goodies to munch on, really. (I tried all of them.)
Link to get your own box is this right here. ^.^

Treat yourself while you’re at home! And if you use the link, it supports me :’)
Review time!
Overall the whole box was amazing! TokyoTreat sent me a Premium box of 17 items, this month’s theme was Happy Girl’s Day. :D
In all honesty, I planned to post a video review but..... It was too long. (I am such a slow talker >_<;...) That’s why it took me SO LONG to post my review. Plus I planned to do a speed paint of the few snacks that I really enjoyed, which is what you see.
The caramel corn, cotton candy, and Kit-Kats are what you see that I enjoyed the best but maybe because I have a sweet tooth. ^^; I really couldn’t stop eating the caramel corn one until it was gone the next day. :’(
There were a couple of savory things like a rice cracker coated in spicy soy sauce and seaweed salt crackers that was interesting to try. The turtle crackers were fun to eat also (I’m pretty sure it’s probably not turtle flavored?)
However, it was the surprise sour Mike Plum popcorn and spicy grain crackers that really weren’t too fun to suddenly have between the sweets. O_O I’m not too fond of sour stuff, there was even something similar to sour patch stuff in the box. Sure, the Kit-Kat’s are yuzu flavored also, but matcha chocolate, c’mon. :P
Good thing the Premium box has Coca Cola Strawberry drink to refresh me. (Sorry, it’s not in the Classic box if you decide to get that instead.)
The whole box tasted like a sweet fun spring if you could eat spring :D
It was really fun and I feel bad about the long video review no one will see >_<;
It’s just unbearable for me for various reasons.
But I recommend it greatly if you wanted to try Japanese snacks. It’s all in a nice catered bundle for you to try if you want.
Trust me, I’m still pacing myself through eating them all ^_^;
Thanks to TokyoTreat for letting me try this! It was super fun.
has a very mild and smooth texture, similar to oatmilk
with actual pieces of almonds
very light (I might have added too much water?) but a good sweetness. I imagine if I use less water (perhaps pre the recommendation) it would be a sweet, nice treat.
Z, Ni, DW, and CM told me they like this a lot. There are several flavors, and not the more traditional jerky flavors like satay or BBQ.
But...I don't really like the seasoning. Again, I've also not had Korean fried chicken, so there's a big chance that maybe the flavor isn't what I like.
Was expecting this to be sweeter.
And again, very small pieces. Maybe in the small bag they are small pieces of jerky and in the bigger bag the jerky will be bigger?
there's also the rose salt flavor and seaweed flavor that I've reviewed before. These three are the vegan flavors. Their original flavor is made with garlic, which I can't have.
They've recently came out with a bunch of new flavors, including beef noodles and three-cup chicken. The Doritos in Taiwan comes out with these strange, local flavors, too.
The wasabi flavor in this can be more pronounce. This is so light that I hardly remember it was wasabi flavor.
