Today I took a day off from work and went to a bridal shower with my mom. A really good family friend whom I've known since I was two is getting married in August. Actually, to say he is a good family friend is an understatement since his family is basically my second family. I've spent countless Halloweens at their house on top of them taking care of me whenever my parents went out of town. I was like the daughter they never had and was spoiled rotten! It was a fun shower and I'm so excited for him. His bride-to-be is wonderful and I can't imagine a more perfect match!
