Madrid:  Describe your aesthetic. Cool Parisian mornings, sterile sunrises, bitter coffee over stale cigarette smoke. Blooming spring flowers, wilting the next day in killing jars, doves and finches and larks spattered with yellow paint. Red wine, too much red wine, red wine in puddles on the floor in the Louvre. Dark clothes, late afternoon sunlight turning gold into copper, the morning chorus during a meteor shower, constellations in freckles and morse code.
