So uhm... some of you might remember pepper and cayenne trying to make cayennepepper babies... so the thing is... I FORGOT.

I just looked. I counted like 30 babies. They are here now, nothing i can do about it. What do i do? Aaaaa.

I'm going to set them free in the park their parents came from I think. They won't be invasive there (garden snails naturally occur in my country, common and all that) and we can let natural selection do its thing. Sorry, i am not raising hundreds of snail babies.

I'm sure they'll do great.

The snailbabies LOVE the protein rich paste i made for them (the speed at which they attacked tell me i waited a bit too long to get them this, salt and pepper were ravenous)

It was a combination of sunflower seeds, crushed eggshell and simple goldfishfood (which from the ingredients should be safe for them, but that sure didn't stop the near meltdown i had at the store...)

But thry are fed and happy, and the three smoll houseless snails (idk what they are called) that moved with the ferns are happy too ^_^

(I'm learning new things about snails all the time, but im always scared one day ill learn sonething too late...)

Can't find paprika... so for my peace of mind imma assume they are pulling a Salt and are buried in somewhere...

GUYS SALT IS LAYING EGGS!!! I REPEAT, SALT IS LAYING EGGS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

Damnit Salt, you just had to upshow Cayenne didn't you? I know you got yourself pregnant you sneaky bastard. What the hell am I going to do with those eggs huh? What do you want from me? I added more soil and this is the thanks I get? I can just immidiately dig through the soil to get to the eggs??? All my hard work, gone!!!?!??!?!? ( I can't take care of this many snails people)

So yeah... i noticed white dots around where Salt dug emself in... aaaaaa. Well this explains a few things. Like Salt suddenly digging. The thing is, salt is the larhest garden snail I have seen. And Salt was not found in my moms garden like Cayenne. I found Salt in the garden of the vacation home thingy. With a whole buncha bbs surrounding them. So many smoll snails! So i assumed Salt was the mom and wpuldn't be laying eggs and was just digging.

I was wrong... i assumed wrong....

So uhm, I couldn't find Salt today and was lowkey freaking out (yesyes that just happens a lot this week). Checked my room and the table, found nothing. Because, you know, no hole is big enough for them, but i feared...!

Turns out this little shit had buried themself into the ground with only the top of the shell poking out. LIKE??? COME ONE!!!

But yeah, I think that's normal snail behaviour. They did it between the two little... uhm idk the english word, but it were starters for plants that creep up walls. So I'm guessing they like the new interior and no longer feel the need to all hide on top of the tank so yay? They have moss now too.

(Still having a mold problem in the soil, i swear its not too humid and i'm taking out old food... they have three new rainworm(???) Or earthworm (???) Roommates who hopefully keep the soil moving a bit more) (and jeez those are hard to catch) (i haven't dug around this much since i was a child) (pretty sure i had a spooder in my hair i freaked out)

I wonder who of the two is actually gonna lay eggs though. Hmmm. I don't know what to do with tje eggs either. I set baby curry and baby garlic free because raising the small ones was not good for my mental health (good luck small ones, the forest is yours)

Ill figure it out though, always do (with help mostly XD)

I think my snail is about to lay eggs but i worry! It doesnt go that fast does it??? Im confused... maybe something went wrong. I will be extra devasted if so because its cayenne...
