So the whole project is three episodes long the spirit of cabin, the mastermind of the warehouse and the choice
can't remember if I already said this but as it was streamed live the audience was not only acknowledged as cannon but also where able to solve puzzles and make decisions wich was really cool
each episode is supposed to represent a different era of horror the spirit of the cabin is old time horror where the props are all very obvious and the vilans are more campy and absurd than scary and the main characters (ranboos) goal in this episode is to escape the cabin he woke up in with no memories alongside some equally goofy teammates
The second episode represents the middle of horror from the laye 80s to early 2000s where things started shifting as a genre it starts as he leaves the cabin and is immediately taken to a saw esc trap with jerma taking the role of the puzzler and his two henchmen dressed like rodents (also not important but jerma has the goofiest face prosthetics on the entire time and at one point accidentally breaks a door with his ass and has to fix it in the middle of a scene) this episode while still being funny is where some genuine horror concepts start to seep through although many of them can't be realized as horrifying until later realizations are made like a surgery scene that in the moment is played off as absurd because he's just full of green goo and has many random items just in the goo but here is where the cracks start to show little glitches where the show seems to be aware of the fact that it's all just a show, somthing to entertain there are several moments like this including a moment where one of the characters run away and everything freezes until he is dragged back by people in suits and masks and made to forget about what it is he saw behind the walls this episode ends with the puzzler leaving a message for ranboo and "accidentally" getting blown up before ranboo is suddenly able to see behind the sets he'd been in for the past two episodes
The third episode is the new and current era of horror that is still shifting and developing this is where they abandon the comedy aspect with them trying to escape the giant abandoned mall where the sets of the two previous episodes are running from the previously mentioned people in suits and masks who are basically mindless zombies in service of whoever is controlling the whole ordeal and there's this crazy like computer wire monster that is actually sick it ends very... conflictingly and the theories on that alone are insane dude but there's alot of things in this episode that make the second episode so different like the slips through the veil in the second episode where the audience thought they where seeing behind the curtain was all orchestrated and as much as we thought we had a choice in the story we couldn't change anything and neither could anyone else

hi kit just wanted to say its great that ur posting a bunch about reanimator bc i tried to watch that movie got way to squicked by the amount of doctor/medical ness and so had to skip out before the first scene was over. but the fan art and gifs are like getting just all the good (gay) parts B)
