Sansa's been playing with snakes again.
She didn't get bitten, which is always a good thing. And since it was still light outside, I actually got a chance to take a look at the snake she'd cornered. It looked like it was a garter snake - harmless, essentially - so I grabbed a shovel, scooped it up, gave it a lecture about how it had all of the woods to slither around in and thus it didn't need to come into our yard, and then let it loose down by the creek.
Of course, Dad said the only good snake is a dead snake, but I like to think that this snake will thank us by keeping other vermin away from the house.
