me when i need to work and earn 600+ dollars for good conditions for my future ball python, to make sure it'll feel comfortable in a 40 gallon terrarium with everything he needs, AND THEN I SEE SOMEONE KEEPING THEIR SNAKES IN FUCKING PLASTIC DRAWERS WITH ONLY A BOWL OF WATER, AND OPENING THEM JUST TO FEED, OBVIOUSLY DON'T CARING ABOUT SNAKE'S COMFORT (you can tell snakes are stressed af because they always act aggressive, even if they're breed to be nicest pet snakes)

and i hate that that people say that "snakes are alive and well fed, that means they feel ok" NO BRO IMAGINE BEING PUT I A PLASTIC BOX WITHOUT ABILITY TO STRETCH YOUR BODY OR SEE ANY LIGHT

Imagine my surprise hearing a rustling next to my chair, yelling at Hex (thinking she'd gotten in the fireplace again) and seeing this little shovel face peek out. Dammit, Seymour! Turns out my husband accidentally left his tank lid open about 1/4" while he was cleaning when I was away. Sunbeam snakes stay buried in deep substrate most of the time so I didn't notice! Luckily he only had a couple of dry scales and no cat teeth marks - these guys dessicate pretty quickly away from damp substrate. Is Seymour sorry for his crimes? No. No, he is not.
