Purchased two 60 quart underbed tubs last night for the bottom two shelves, which will be heated each by a one foot strip of 12-inch THG. The two uppermost shelves can support 4 32-quarts, for which I ordered the 6-inch THG, mainly because they can use the extra couple inches to help support ambient heat. I only use Sterilite's locking boxes because they aren't as narrow and have a bit more space than the non-locking variety. The equivalent then would be 41qt instead of 60qt and 28qt instead of 32qt. I like the solid lids but the latching low boxes give me more room to add things for them. The two high and two low shelves of the rack will of course be run on two separate thermostats to be hung on either side, or places on top once I can get a VE or Herpstat. And when the replacement pole for the top shelf comes in I'm probably going to look into getting some hardboard to attach to the back and right side of the rack for more insulation and security. I technically don't NEED all the tubs right now but before I have walls, it will help with insulation. All in all the rack itself cost $50, 20 minutes of sawing down the poles, and whatever the hardboard will cost cut. 32 quarts are $6.99 each and 60 quarts are about $14.99
