Alright time to expand on this lol (taken from this post about the Snake Squad)
I’m gonna start this by saying that Gary is now under the squad’s protection. They almost didn’t BELIEVE that Gary was a fugitive because of how much of a sweetheart he is! But after an explanation, not only did they 100% understand but they promise to beat the absolute shit out of the Lynxley family because of what they did/tried to do. They’re not even surprised that lynx’s were a breed of wild cat since they know all too well what cats are like (being how they always get disrespected by lions and tigers). They’d also like to thank his great grandmother for founding a city where all kinds of animals live in harmony. It’s nice when a snake is finally shown the appreciation they deserve
Fu-xi becomes even more passionate when Gary mentions his family. While he may be a bit envious because he lost his, he admires how Gary sacrificed everything for the sake of his family and managed to stay pure despite the bs he went through. He tells the young snake to never let his loved ones out of his sight. On top of that, he offers to teach Gary some self-defense just in case
