So yesterday at #SnakeRiverFandomCon I was able to wander around and had a brief encounter with the band Kazha. They come all the way from Japan and they had a fun performance that night. The day before they're singer, Kazuha, had these awesome black angel wings on as she was walking through the con. So that leads me to this fan art. The wings, her style, and the fact that this is a rock band got me thinking about a Manga that I have read called Princess Ai, which is all about an angel's journey of self discovery through her music. I borrowed a pose from one of the illustrations and modified it to my art style and the look of the band. I plan on giving this (this is the original) to the band in person tomorrow.
