A Brief Description of SNAP Exam
There are various entrance examinations conducted for admission to MBA and PGDM programs in noble business institutions across the country. One such exam is Symbiosis National Aptitude Online Test, shortened as SNAP Exam, conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) to shortlist candidates based on the scores obtained by them in the examination. Symbiosis International University is considered home to several highly rated business institutions. It is a national level entrance examination conducted every year for admission to the institutes affiliated to SIU and spread all over the nation. It can also be considered the gateway for the aspiring students to take admission to programs such as MBA/M. Sc. (CA), or M. Sc. (SS).
Important Features of SNAP Exam

Mode of Exam – Computer Based Test
Duration of the Exam – 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes
Exam Date – 15th December 2019
Time Slot – 14:00 to 16:00 hours
Negative Marking – 25% marks are deducted as penalty for each incorrect answer
SNAP Exam Pattern is divided in three sections and the questions are divided in two types namely Normal Questions and Special Questions. There are total 110 questions asked for 150 marks. Out of these 110 questions 105 questions are of normal type of questions and the left 5 questions are of special type of questions.
The sections in which SNAP Question Paper is divided are mentioned below:
· General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability
· Analytical and Logical Reasoning
· Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency
Note* There used to be one more section “Current Affairs” which has been removed for the session 2019 and who knows, this may be applied to further years as well. This has led to change in number of questions in each section of SNAP Exam Pattern.
SNAP 2019 Exam Eligibility
While applying for any examination, the foremost priority that comes up is to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university. Students with minimum educational qualification can fill the application form and appear for the exam. SNAP Eligibility is as same as that of other MBA exams conducted.
· For taking SNAP Exam, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved categories) in aggregate from a recognized university.
· Candidates pursuing final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for SNAP 2019 Exam.
· In case of international students, they are required to submit a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
