Puar makes the uncertain trip to hunt down Tien to give him and Chiaotzu a letter from Yamcha, the contents possessing a simple invitation to a Taitans game.
At first Tien rejects the invitation, strong emotions for Yamcha being his primary excuse not to be left alone with him. But as much as Tien seemed to think things through, he was never shy of acting out on impulse and finds himself and Chiaotzu on their way to visit their old friend later that night.
When they finally reach his destination, the night takes a curious turn as the duo find him drunk. Chiaotzu is quick to leave Tien to handle him- and his emotions for him, alone.
