Okay, so I'm turning eighteen tomorrow.
This isn't that big of a deal for me except the thing called voting and volunteering. But I thought this would give me ample time to give a quick shout out to everyone who helped me get this far and remember the great things I did while I was still seventeen.
1. Visiting Macy, especially being touristy around Sedona and Jerome.
2. Going to visit Paris with Lauren and the Film lot from College. Highlights included screaming at the Director of the ECU and mutual staring at Enjolras-alike #2.
3. Seeing Franka again, watching Next to Normal with her and getting caught in the rain in Wycombe (shout out to the lovely Amnesty guy who let me talk at him and lent us his umbrella).
4. MCM with the COS guys, seeing Richard again and finally meeting Stuart. Not to forget talking to Daniel about Marvel/DC and Dita being her wonderful self.
5. Filming the screen test for END with Lauren, Natalie and Sarah - though all the blood, sweat and dirty Thames water. The best of my college girls and Gerrad.
6. Rhodes again with just mum and my little brother this time. Getting lost in the mountains and seeing all of our favourite workers again.
7. London, regardless of who/what/when/why. Particularly seeing Mis again and visiting the Disobedient Object ex at the V&A.
8. Going with James and a couple of others into Wycombe, bowling (and winning for once), screaming at arcade games and rowing down the Wye.
9. Dragging Lauren into the same fandoms and watching kids films she was deprived of in childhood during our frees.
10. All of those small mentions by those people I thought would easily forget about me (Stella, Josie) and talking to my best girls everyday (or near enough). Finally to those who really should've given up on me a long time ago: Franka, Abbi and Lauren - the amazing people who have stood by me no matter what, how much I whine or how terrible I am at most things.
Thank you all for making this the best year yet.
Macy i miss you
