Doe-Eyed Encounters

Publishing the original which was used as a banner for the SnarryBang Gift Exchange earlier this year. My working title for this was "Happy Birthday, Harry" and I kept imagining Severus trying to figure out a gift for The Chosen One Who Has It All and at the end just summoning up his Patronus and watching with amusement as Harry is mesmerized for a long, long time. "Hold up, I want to tell her one more thing..."

Your mission: Sign up here before May 25! Give at least three different prompts, PLUS you have the option of putting up your works for a remix/fanwork created from your own Snarry works!

Anonymous matches sent right after! You will know who your giftee is, but not your creator (they are different!). You can get in touch anonymously with your giftee via their askbox or anon guest comment on AO3 if you have questions, to say hi, just to squee… :D

Creation time until July 25 ! Pick at least one prompt to create at least one work (no maximum;-). 2000 words min for fic and podfic. The 2000 words can be split between different works, but a single work is minimum 1000 words.

Posting: You will have until July 25 to post in the unrevealed, anonymous AO3 collection. If you do not have an AO3 account or don't want to post there, you can submit your work to this blog here (no Tumblr account needed).

“Still,” he said, “I’m grateful for your work with this. It’s been a big help.”

Severus harrumphed. “If that is all.” With that he left, and Harry tried to concentrate on writing a report of the accounts for his meeting with the board of directors the next morning. He kept getting distracted thinking about his new secretary though. Severus was, on the surface, very abrasive, but Harry had a feeling he could actually be very sweet. He had an urge to try to bring out that sweet side, even though he found he quite liked Severus’ snark.
